2026 Offshore Patrol Vessel 1800 Coast Guard

Known for its excellent power/speed ratios, the OPV 1800 offers high endurance on a fully capable offshore platform. It requires much less power than typical corvettes with a hull designed for more economical patrolling speeds. Ther OPV 1800 is equipped with four diesel engines which drive two controllable pitch propellers. It is also possible to run only two diesels at patrol speed to reduce fuel consumption and extend range. The vessel has a hangar, flight deck and service space for a large helicopter of up to 11 tons.
